‘Love Next Door’ fans were in for a treat as the beloved K-drama ended its delightful run on tVN satisfyingly. In the last episode of the series, Bae Seok-Ryu (Jung So-Min) admitted to having cold feet and asked Choi Seung-Hyo (Jung Hae-In) if they could postpone their wedding for at least a year. The architect couldn’t deny her anything, so he agreed to wait while both worked on fulfilling their dreams. As Seung-Hyo flourished in his career, Seok-Ryu also fulfilled her wish of becoming a restaurateur, and her fiance even helped to renovate and design it for her. While a wedding scene for the duo wasn’t shown in the finale, the ending scene hinted at a life spent happily together.
