NewJeans just made a summer come back and we are all here for it. In anticipation of the rollout of their second EP, the group released their eponymous intro track ‘New Jeans’. The song is an earworm but as is the norm with NewJeans, the music video’s creative visuals are unmatched. The girls and their ‘Powerpuff Girls’ persona were easily the best part of the video, especially with how they color-coordinated their outfits to match their animated counterparts.
So, let’s dive straight into the style seen in the music video.

NewJeans’ ‘New Jeans’ MV Fashion
Hyein’s Look
Hyein‘s head-to-toe purple look is effortlessly chic and urbane. She was dressed in a sheer jacquard shirt with matching trousers and a wrap crocheted miniskirt, all from MARCO RAMBALDI. Her heeled sandals from Melissa tied the purple ensemble together.
To maintain the outfit’s edge, Hyein sported a black distorted backpack from Æ Synctx and completed the look with a black star ear-cuff from BAEBAE, a 3D-printed white crush ring with multicolor crystal cut detail from ROUSSEY, and a purple signet ring from JEAN PAUL GAULTIER.
Danielle’s Look
Danielle went for a cute and endearing look in a toy kitten blouse from Chopova Lowena styled with a fitting green and blue textured side-slit skirt from Chet Lo. For footwear, she paired black punk heels from JEAN PAUL GAULTIER with multicolor hand-dyed socks from COLLINA STRADA.
The outfit would not be complete without these silver orb earrings with orange crystal from DRIES VAN NOTEN and the signature 3D-printed yellow band ring with blue and white crystal cut detailing from ROUSSEY.
Hanni’s Look
Hanni‘s glamorous outfit features a pink and purple crystal-embellished heart-shaped top from AREA, low-rise utility pink trousers from Blumarine, and pink-heeled sandals from MELISSA.
She styled her pigtails with mini butterfly hairpins from MOMENTEL, and showed off pink heart opal rabbit earrings from the same brand. Of course, the 3D-printed crush ring from ROUSSEY makes an appearance, this time in a hot pink shade and white crystal detailing.
Haerin’s Look
Haerin achieved a fairly like outfit with a modern-day twist by wearing a graphic-print fluorescent T-shirt and yellow shorts, both from Martine Rose, with a lime green mesh graphic-print mini skirt from Paula Canovas del Vas. She elevated the look with green platform sandals from MELISSA and a silver bag from YOHJI YAMAMOTO.
For accessories, she chose a blue lapis gemstone necklace from MOMENTEL and a green signet ring from JEAN PAUL GAULTIER.
Minji’s Look
In the final look, we have Minji in a blue cutout t-shirt and drape lounge pants from OTTOLINGER, complete with a pair of buffed faux-leather white sandals from ROMBAUT. She also wore a black star sis earring from BAEBAE and a white cuff bracelet from JEAN PAUL GAULTIER to embellish the look.
