How Korean Celebs Rock Pantone Color Of 2020 - Classic Blue

Ever since the year 2000, the Pantone color institute has selected a color of the year that is believed to represent our contemporary society. For the year 2020, Pantone has chosen “Classic Blue” as the official color of the year. It is the seventh time since 2000 that a shade of blue has been chosen. Pantone believes that modern technology is helping our world develop at a rapid pace, and people live in the digital age are seemingly gravitating towards colors that are calming and have a protective quality. According to the company, Classic Blue “brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge” as a new decade begins.

While we still planning on rearranging our wardrobe’s color theme, some celebrities were ahead of the curve as always, and have already sported Classic Blue before this announcement. We have put together some epic Classic Blue outfits worn by Korean celebrities to get you all started. Let’s go!

If you have a light skin tone like South Korean singer Sunmi, Classic Blue is your color. Try an oversized sweater with cropped jeans and a pair of sleek ankle boots and wrap up your look with a pop of yellow.

It is not easy to pick the right bag when you are wearing a complex pattern. Neutral colors like black, white and grey will certainly do the trick. However, if you feel more adventurous, try a Classic Blue belt bag like South Korean actor Hong Jong-Hyun.

Hair Color

While Classic Blue does complement Asian skin tone in general, this hair color may not work well as a day-to-day look. However, if you are on holiday and want to set the inner you free or you simply love to express yourself with colors, it is definitely worth it to give Classic Blue a go.

Yeonjun (TXT)
